Briefly: Local Blogger Makes Good, Again

by Alex

This has nothing to do with Cleveland sports (go team!), but I wanted to alert all of you puzzle fans that Corey's debut crossword puzzle is in today's New York Times. It's only available online to those with premium accounts, and if you have one of those, you've probably already done the puzzle. Otherwise, you're going to have to purchase a copy at your local newsstand. Congratulations, brother.

Thanks, Dennis. It's still just a hobby, not a career. But I can say that I have met Will Shortz.

Congrats. That's sweet. Any MBTL-based clues?

Alas, no Cleveland sports references in this one. But I have a few others in the pipeline which may or may not reference a certain supreme being/soon-to-be NBA MVP...

Awesome. I will get one on that puzzle.

Has His jumper looked a lot better to you lately? I would say it, but I don't want to jinx it.

I'm actually quite sad that you didn't use this as an opportunity to reference APPLESTIX.

That's really cool. I didn't read this until Saturday. Is there any way for me to still get a copy?

I take it you met Will at the tournament? That puzzle #5 is always a doozy!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Veee, you know about puzzle #5? I always knew you were one of our most loyal readers, but you're obviously as big a crossword nerd as I am. I'll gladly e-mail you a scan of my puzzle - just e-mail me first (ckrubin at gmail).
